Every day, we help thousands of people. We offer unique, local programs, designed to meet the specific needs of each community we serve.

In 2022, inflation soared to 8.3%, drastically affecting the ability of nearly 92 million Americans to afford the cost of living and basic needs. “Because of the overwhelming generosity of our loyal donors, corporate sponsors, and over 1.3 million volunteers, The Salvation Army has been able to meet the needs of the country’s most vulnerable communities, 365 days of the year,” said The  Salvation Army’s National Commander, Commissioner Kenneth Hodder.

Every year, natural disasters destroy local economies and devastate lives. They cause Americans emotional damage and cost $24.4 billion in insured losses each year.

Earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, droughts, floods, and other natural disasters pose a great threat to our country. We’re here to help. In any given year, we provide nearly 800,000 survivors with support, hope, and healing.
